Decatur– Melvin A. Shull, 79, ofDecaturpassed away at4:00 p.m., Monday, January 16, 2012 in St. Mary’s Hospital.

Melvin was bornMay 29, 1932inDecatur,ILthe son of Joseph A. and Irene (Thompson) Shull he married Linda Kelly onFebruary 4, 1978. He was retired from Curry Ready Mix. He was a US Army Veteran. He was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church and was a Master Mason in the Masonic Lodge.
Surviving is his wife Linda of Decatur, children: Retta, Riki, and Scott; brother: Roger Shull and his wife Roberta, and many grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters.

Dear Family,
We are saddened at the loss of Uncle Mel. We enjoyed our visits with him over the years when we saw him at the DAV. May God grant you peace in your time of mourning and remember we will be together with him someday. Until then we cherish our memories.
